Ella at the Pumpkin Patch
Ella and I went to Snead's Farm with MOPS. She loved chasing the chickens!
She would not let me take her picture that day!

Someone's random helpful Daddy volunteered to push her on the swing.
Walking through the patch to pick her pumpkin...Weston's Superhero Party! (October 4th 10am-12pm)
We had lots of brunch food for our 10am party.
We made Superman emblems for our craft.
Everyone got a cape and mask with their initial on it. We ended up having 7 boys all in different Superhero costumes!
The Spiderman cake that I actually made myself! My friend Susanne let me borrow her cake decorating stuff to make it. Weston thought it was "fantabulous!" I am definitely still in the running for "Mom of the Year!"

Than it was craziness to get the candy!
We played a game where they had to find the spiders in the spider web.
The "villains" came to try and ruin Spiderman's Superhero Party! The Superhero Friends covered the villains in silly string and ran them off, saving the day!
Weston's 5th Birthday! (September 30th)
These are the spider cupcakes I made for Weston's class. He goes to a Christian School and they do not like anything Spiderman, so this was as close as I could get to that.
Everyone got a spider ring on their cupcake to wear. They thought the cupcakes were so cool! I might still be in the running for "Mom of the Year" this year:o)
For Weston's special birthday dinner, he chose homemade chocolate chip belgium waffles with homemade whipped cream, and bacon. We ate (like it was our last meal) every bit of food and Weston even had 5 pieces of bacon!! (Can you tell we don't normally eat like this?)
Chad and I got him a guitar for his birthday and lessons to follow. I am still looking for someone to teach him that can work into our schedule. Like Ella's outfit in the background?? She picked it special for Weston's b-day dinner! ...and yes, her skirt is inside out!While Ella's in the bath...

1st DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!!!
We all went to the bus stop this morning to say goodbye to Weston on his 1st day of school! i held back the tears as i put him on the bus for the 1st time. he was so excited and not even nervous! he definitely doesn't take after me!
he does look a little scared in this picture as he watches the big kids load the bus.
he got on the bus and sat right down in the first seat. i felt so bad for him b/c everyone else sat in the back and they were all in high school! he still had his backpack on too. i hope he didn't ride the whole 1 hour and 20 min. to school with it on!Weston's Orientation for Kindergarten
Weston would not take a good picture yesterday! he made silly faces everytime i tried to take his picture! anyway, here he is sitting at his table at school. he started kindergarten today at Fredericksburg Christian School (where chad and i went to school).

he has to keep his monkey smiling to get a skittle at the end of the day. if he doesn't listen, his monkey gets flipped around. hopefully, our little monkey will behave himself:o)
weston's classroom is the only class in the modulars, and his seat is right by the door. the whole school will be moving to a new facility at the end of september.Random Funny Pics of the Kids
