Yesterday (October 13th) we went to the Richmond International Raceway to see Sarah Palin! We went thinking that it would probably be held on the racetrack, but unfortunately, we were all out on the grass with only 2 small set of bleachers. The news said 20,000 people came to see Sarah Palin and I believe it! It was really exciting to be there and hear her speak (what little bit we could make out:o) and she even brought Hank Williams Jr. with her! He sang the National Anthem and his "Family Traditions" sung with a campaign type theme. It was a really fun day!
Avey, Donovan, Finley, Ella, and Weston all had a blast playing together during the rally.
Our view...
I took this picture of Sarah by sitting on Erin's shoulders...
YOU GO, GIRL!

I love all the pictures. Your kiddos are growing up fast. You are the hostess with the mostest too with that super cool party. You will win mom of the year for sure. I love Sarah. I am so glad you got to go. We will miss you next month.
i LOVED the rally!!! i love the things she stands for and i love that as a jesus loving and bible believing christian, i finally have someone who honors the sanctity of life representing ME in this race!!!!! i LOVED that we prayed before the rally started- as a group. i LOVED that we sang the nationa anthem (albeit a bit off key) and i love that she referenced GOD in her speech!! woohoo!!
man, that chick, leigh is so negative. sheesh ;0)
that is so great. I've been sad lately that a lot of my other friends are now leaning towards Obama....this race has been crazy.
